How to read a funnel audit

Last updated:

A SiteRevenue funnel report is a path file of record, not three page grades stacked. Live order: grade card (letter, leak score, “This page is asking for”) → history when present → path strip (the break) → fix 3 this week → findings → captures → path dimensions → rewrites → step cards. Exports in the masthead. Empty modules omit. Free mini: titles plus the break. Public steps you paste. Not GA4. Not a logged-in crawl. Unlock recaptures.

Product spine: What is a conversion path audit?. Page reports: How to read a revenue audit.

Report stages you will see

Session URLs live under /audits/:id and are not meant for public SEO. From a full report, create a read-only share link (/s/:token). My Audits is your private library — Path / Page chips, Web / Agent origin.

Empty modules are omitted. The UI never invents a section.

Score & summary

The grade card sits in the overview with the summary. Two numbers, two polarities — do not merge them:

  • Letter grade (A–F) — overall path health. A is healthier than F. Same model on every run so re-audits stay comparable.
  • Leak score (0–100) — higher = more leaks found. It is not a “health” score.
  • The sample uses the same leak-score polarity, labeled illustrative. It is not a live audit of that host.

The executive summary should name where conversion dies. Treat both numbers as prioritization, not a compliance score or a revenue guarantee.

Path job

The live heading is This page is asking for — including on funnel jobs. It sits on the grade card, not below the path strip. It is the job the ordered HTML is selling (quoted from a step). It is not a product-market-fit score. If that is not the business, you pasted the wrong chain — or the break is a bait-and-switch.

History

When this path already has more than one full run, history renders before the path strip: Improved / Dropped / Holding plus the letter chain. Mini audits are not mixed into that grade line.

Conversion path

The path strip is the object. Hosts in order. The break is marked — promise dies, CTA lands on the wrong job, surprise price, or login wall. If you pasted the ad or email they saw, a They clicked line sits above the strip.

  • Steps are user-supplied public URLs (1–7, landing required). Not pages crawled. Not GA4.
  • Mixed hosts are expected (your site, then Stripe or Calendly).
  • A failed capture is a step-completeness finding, not a crash. Shots are fail-open.

Teaser already shows the strip. Unlock recaptures; the paid file is a new snapshot.

Fix these 3 this week

On a full funnel job the action box sits with the path strip, after history. Those three actions are tied to the break (effort S / M / L). One of the three may be an ad ticket — change the arriving line, not the page. Ship the break before you restyle every step. Then re-audit to see whether the letter grade moved.

The sample uses the same action-box chrome. A longer Quick Wins list, when present on a live full job, is the same idea without the cap. Work the action box first.

Ranked findings

Full path findings are ordered so #1 is usually the first fix to ship. Expect titles that name a host or step N — not generic “Improve CTA / Hero / Trust.” Top findings should cite more than one step so the file is a path, not a fold roast.

For each finding, expect:

  1. Title — short name of the path leak
  2. Priority / rank — work top-down unless a dependency forces otherwise
  3. Evidence — what on the public steps supports the claim
  4. Fix — concrete change direction
  5. Optional rewrite — headline or CTA on the breaking step

Do not treat dollar impact bands as promises. They help order work; they are estimates only.

Locked titles on the free teaser: three leak titles that should name the break, no evidence, no dimensions, no action box. Unlocking starts a new full job that recaptures the public steps — it does not reuse the teaser scrape.

Page captures

Live full jobs attach captures when screenshot capture succeeds. Screenshot failure is fail-open: the rest of the report still delivers. Do not treat a missing shot as a failed audit.

The sample is a labeled composite — not a fake live capture.

Path dimensions

Modules scored 0–10 with a one-line diagnosis. Higher = healthier on that slice. Funnel jobs emit six path labels: Step completeness, Promise continuity, CTA destination match, Friction accumulation, Competing actions, Mobile path. That is a second rubric — not a ninth landing-page class. The eight page modules (Hero, CTA, Match, Offer, Proof, Form, Trust, Mobile) stay on the page file.

Use the lowest path scores to decide which findings to open first.

Before → After rewrites

Copy-paste drafts for the breaking step, with a one-line “why.” They are tickets, not brand-approved finals — see Copy rewrites that ship. Empty when the job did not return them.

Per-step scorecards

Notes for each page on the path, after dimensions. The product is where it breaks, not a landing-page grade of every URL. If a card looks like a full landing-page audit, you are reading it wrong: ship the break.

Exports: Markdown, JSON, PDF

On a succeeded full report, downloads live in the masthead (PDF button + Markdown / JSON menu) — not a footer module.

Agency ($99/mo, 25 page credits) can also pull artifacts via the Agent API, or poll/get with the CLI after REST created the job. Poll for completion — job webhooks are not shipped. The sample path does not fake a checkout.

Share vs My Audits

Share when a teammate should see the file without your workspace. Use My Audits when you need history, credits, or a re-run. Never treat /audits/:id as a campaign landing page.

Multi-site and versions

  • Path identity — same ordered public steps → same site row (not only the start host).
  • Version — each full (or re-run) job is an immutable snapshot on that path.

Compare letter grades after you ship the break; do not expect in-place edits to an old job. Re-audit from the report (/audits/:id), not from the hub list.

Recovery if you lose the browser session

Use the same email as checkout. Request a magic link at Open with email, then open My Audits. Paid history is not tied only to a cookie.

The named cash-path product is the $19 page file — free grade → unlock → Agency ($99/mo, 25 page credits). No Path $49 product.

What this report is not

  • Not three independent page grades
  • Not GA4 drop-off or a logged-in crawl
  • Not a private-area scan
  • Not Google Ads bid management
  • Not a substitute for legal, accessibility, or security audits
  • Not a conversion-lift guarantee — the sample is a labeled composite
  • Not live job-completion webhooks (Agent API users poll)
  • Not CLI audit submit --url as a path creator — that flag is page-only. REST kind=funnel submits the path; CLI can poll and fetch artifacts.

See the shape before you pay

Browse the sample (illustrative — not GA4, not a logged-in crawl). Captures and masthead exports appear on a live full job after pay. Paste a public URL on the home page. Unlock: Pricing.
